Durable paver and stone driveways and aprons built on an engineered base to handle Massachusetts weather and heavy vehicle loads. Proudly serving Lexington and the surrounding Greater Boston area.
YellowStone Masonry Group is the Greater Boston's go-to masonry team, and Lexington, MA is right in our backyard. Half a century of experience means we build paver and stone driveways to survive coastal weather, nor'easters, and wide temperature swings that stress brick, block, and stone and open up mortar joints.
Our Lexington customers keep coming back and referring neighbors because we build driveway paving to outlast the trends. Proper prep, honest advice on repair-versus-replace, and a finish you will be proud to show off.
Cracked, potholed asphalt that needs constant patching and looks worn no matter how recently it was sealed
A driveway that heaves, cracks and crumbles at the edges every winter because the base was thin or never compacted
Oil stains and faded surfaces that drag down the whole front of your home
Poor drainage that sends water toward your garage and foundation instead of away from it
Heavy-duty engineered base built for vehicle loads and New England frost, so the surface stays sound for decades
Interlocking pavers that flex with the freeze-thaw instead of cracking like a solid slab
Standout curb appeal in the patterns, borders and colors that suit your home
Drainage planned to carry water away from your garage and foundation
Damaged pavers can be individually lifted and replaced — no ugly patches or full repaving
A premium upgrade that sets your property apart on the street

We excavate, build and compact a deep base, set and lock the pavers, and finish the edges and grade.
For longevity and looks, yes. Pavers last 30 to 50+ years versus roughly 15 to 20 for asphalt, they resist cracking from frost, and individual units can be replaced instead of repaving the whole surface.
Yes — with the right base. We build driveway bases deeper and more heavily compacted than patios specifically to carry vehicle loads without rutting or settling.
Very little — occasional rinsing, refreshing the joint sand every few years, and an optional sealer. Oil stains lift far easier than on asphalt, and any damaged paver can be swapped out.
